About Android 11
Android 11 is the eleventh major release and the 18th version of the Android mobile operating system. It was released on September 8, 2020. It was created for three monthly developer previews that could be released before the first beta release, initially in May, with a total of three monthly beta releases prior to the actual release.
1. Android security
patch update
With the help of
Android 11, you can download all the security patches of your phone from the
Play Store. With this help, the company does not have to push security updates
again and again, and with its help, the security can be sent to direct users.
2. App pinning on share sheet
If you have copied a
URL, you get lots of options to share it like Google Drive, Google Docs etc.
But now you will get to see the option on which app you want to keep on top.
3. Chat bubbles
Chat Bubbles is very
similar to Facebook Messenger, but this feature has been builtin within Android
11. And you can use it in any messaging app.
4. App suggestions (only for google pixel)
There is a bar in
the bottom of every phone's home screen and there are multiple apps like calls,
Chrome browser etc. But with the help of this feature, Android can
automatically decide which one app you use more, and at what time you use it.
Then Google categorised the app according to it. For this, Google uses A.I. But
this feature is only for Google Pixel devices.
Now let's talk about
which phones will get the update of Android 11 first. If we talk about Pixel
phones, then this update will come from Pixel 2 to Pixel 4. Only Pixel 1 and
1XL will not get this update. Some more phones that will get this update like
oneplus 8, 8 pro, realme x50 pro, Xiaomi mi 10 and IQOO 3 etc. The first
phone comes in India with android 11 out of the box is most probably oneplus
8T.
